Glen S. Calkins received his Bachelor of Business Administration from University of Miami, 1968 Major - Finance/Investments and his Master of Business Administration (finance/economics) from the University of Bridgeport 1972. Glen’s Masters thesis was on small business managerial economics, enhancing profits while improving quality control production output and efficiency. After completing the thesis he successfully implemented the results. His business experience includes Investment Analyst and Portfolio Manager for investments; Vice President and Treasurer for a small manufacturing business; and Real Estate Development, (including the management and full profit center responsibility for hundreds of millions of dollars in project values in California and Texas, example - Mattel Inc. Corporate Headquarters).
His management experience includes President of Sutter Hill Limited a full service Real Estate Development Company that built high rise office, retail, hotel and industrial projects. In 1987 he founded Griffin Associates a business providing asset management services. Glen is published with articles on asset valuation and production efficiency. He has been an Advisory Associate and Registered Representative with Protected Investors of America since 1998. In 2016 he moved to Western International Securities, Inc. as an Advisory Associate.
